The Best Men’s Style Moments From The 2019 Brownlow Awards

These sporting legends proved that smart suiting and classic tailoring are timeless, and just as captivating as the boldest prints.

For AFL fans, the Grand Final might be the biggest night in the calendar. But for the sporting stars, that title is perhaps more fitting for the Brownlow awards, a night which celebrates the personal achievements of players, individual highlights for the season, as well as the incredible work being done off the field to push the game forward.

The Brownlow red carpet might be synonymous with thigh splits and plunging necklines when it comes to the women, but for the men it presents an opportunity to show off their suiting chops and ditch the team kit for an evening. And while most of us can only dream of being afforded the opportunity to wear athletic gear and tracksuit pants to work on a daily basis, when you’re a professional athlete, the chance to actually dress up is one that comes with great excitement.

Not surprisingly, the sporting stars taking to the Brownlow red carpet dressed to impress. They may have let their significant others steal the show with form-fitting dresses that sparkled brighter than a Taylor Swift tour outfit, but these men proved that smart suiting and classic tailoring are timeless and just as captivating as the boldest prints.

Here are the best style moments from the Brownlow red carpet for 2019.
