In an interview with HT Lifestyle, Men’s Fashion Stylist and Influencer Aman Agarwal reveals 7 common fashion mistakes that men should stop making.
1. Short Sleeved Shirt With Tie
A tie is a part of a formal dress and a short sleeve shirt is casual. So there is no point in wearing these two things together.
2. Color mismatch between shoes and belt
Always remember to match the color of your shoes and belt. Exception: Shoes in white go with any color of belt.
3. Wearing the wrong undershirt with your dress shirt
A visible undershirt breaks up the visible line. Wear a gray undershirt to avoid visibility. Do not buy white colored undershirts.
4. Not ironing your clothes
Wrinkle-resistant clothing definitely needs ironing or pressing after washing to keep it looking clean and professional.
5. Wearing stained clothes
Never wear stained clothes as it looks unprofessional. If possible, try to remove the stain by rinsing the clothes with warm water.
6. Wearing Socks with Sandals
The sock with sandals gives a messy look. Sandals are meant to be worn barefoot. If your feet are not a part of your body that you can easily show, avoid open-toed shoes.
7. Deep V-Neck Shirt
A good O-neck and V-neck sweater or shirt is a must have in a man’s wardrobe. However, for the past few years, it has been the trend where the V is too deep and leaves a huge gap between your chest which gives a messy look and feel. Avoid wearing them inside without a plain white T-shirt.
